FAQs - ZeccoShare Performance

How does GainsKeeper calculate performance?
GainsKeeper, an industry leader in performance and tax planning tools, uses a robust daily time-weighted return methodology similar to the methodology used to calculate the performance on investment-grade assets like mutual funds.

What is included in the performance calculation?
Performance data includes both realized and unrealized profit and loss for all trading activity during the selected time frame. GainsKeeper covers stock (and ETF) trades - options and mutual fund trades are not.

When is the performance data updated?
Performance data is updated overnight and takes into account all trading activity up to and including the previous trading day.

Why is my performance in ZeccoShare different than in the Trading Center?
The Zecco Trading Center only displays your current portfolio, including your unrealized profit or loss. Profit and loss you realized in the past are not included. So, it is very possible that your current portfolio is down 5% while your GainsKeeper portfolio performance, since inception, is up 10%.
