4 ways to fund your Zecco Trading account and start trading for free.
Link A Bank Account Using ACH
ACH (Automated Clearing House Transfer) is a free and easy way to fund your account. Simply visit the
Funding and Transfers section in the Trading Center once you’re signed in.
Please note that it may take up to five (5) days following the date of deposit before your funds are available while it is verified and cleared by Zecco Trading.
Wire Funds From Your Bank to Zecco Trading
A wire transfer is the fastest way to add money to your account, but you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be the owner of the source account. Sorry, but we can’t accept wires from anyone but you.
- If you transfer funds in a foreign currency, we’ll automatically convert it to USD (additional fees may apply).
- You must include your Zecco Trading account number.

Mail Us a Check
An easy way to fund your account is to send a check to our offices. Once we get it, we’ll typically have your funds ready for you the following business day. Please note Zecco Trading reserves the right to hold the funds for up to five (5) days following the date of deposit before your funds are available to trade while it is verified and cleared. Like you’d expect, mailing us a check is absolutely free.
Step 1: Make Out Your Check
To expedite handling, checks must be addressed to
Penson Financial Services.
Please include the appropriate account number on your check. It can be found throughout the
Trading Center in the top right, once you’ve signed in.
Step 2: Mail Us Your Check
Transfer Securities From Another Broker (ACAT)
ACAT is an industry-wide standard for transferring positions between different financial institutions. If you already have a portfolio with another institution, it’s a great idea to use this method to transfer these holdings directly to Zecco Trading. This way, you don’t have to liquidate your current positions.
Step 1: Complete the ACAT Form
- Print and fill out the Customer Account Transfer (ACAT) form.
- Attach a copy of your most recent brokerage statement.
- Please fill out the form completely, as transfers cannot be processed otherwise.
- Make sure you sign the form.
Step 2: Mail, Email, or Fax Your ACAT Form and Statement

*Email is not a secure form of communication. Sending sensitive documents to Zecco Trading via this method will expose your personal data to the internet. Zecco Trading will not be held liable should you use this delivery method, therefore we suggest you use caution.
