What is a Trading Key and how do I obtain it to sign in to my Zecco Trading Account?
The Trading Key is the access code to your Trading Account and is different than your myZecco user name or password.
Once your account is approved, Zecco Trading will send you an approval e-mail. In that e-mail there are directions to on how to obtain your Trading Key. Please note:
Change your Trading Key periodically, starting the first time you sign in to your Trading Account
Use alphanumerical characters only (A-Z, 0-9) if you change your Trading Key. Your Trading Key is case sensitive.
Please do not ever respond to an e-mail (that may appear to come from Zecco Trading) that requests you to update personal or account information at Zecco Trading.

How do I fund my account?
You may send a check, wire transfer funds directly to your account, or use ACH. See the "Funding & Transfers" tab in the Trading Center (right next to the "Trading Center" tab) to view specific instructions or to move cash in & out of your Trading Acccount. You can also click here to find more specific information about funding your account.

How do I request an increase in my Option Permission Level?
Please complete an Options Agreement and return to our mailing address. You may expedite the process if also a copy is faxed to +1 909 657-6638, or a scanned copy is e-mailed to customerservice@zeccotrading.com.

My cash balance is higher than my buying power, why?
This is common in a cash account when a sell order has been placed but has yet to settle. In a cash account the proceeds of a sell order will not affect your buying power until settlement, which is T+3 (trade date plus three business days). To avoid this situation you may want to consider establishing margin on your account. With a margin account the proceeds of a sell order will update your buying power immediately.
To establish a margin account you can request it at the time you open your account or if your account is already established you can complete the Margin Application form and mail it to our mailing address. You may expedite the process if also a copy is faxed to +1 909 657-6638, or a scanned copy is e-mailed to customerservice@zeccotrading.com. It will take 3-5 business days to process your request.

With regard to retirement accounts, when does the annual fee occur and how is it assessed?
New accounts are charged the $30 annual fee at the time they are funded. Existing accounts are charged in the first week of February. A debit balance will occur on the account if there is not enough cash to cover the fee. At that time, you will be contacted to discuss options on settling the debit.

I cannot open the IRA Simplifier form. What should I do?
You probably haven't installed the latest version of Adobe Reader (8).

Zecco.com is a financial portal of Zecco Holdings, Inc., which also provides access to Zecco Trading. Zecco Holdings is not a securities broker/dealer. All securities and investments are offered by Zecco Trading, Inc. Member FINRA/SIPC. At Zecco Trading, you can make up to 10 free stock trades in any one month that you maintain a $2500 minimum account net equity. After that, you pay only $4.50 per stock trade. Options trades are $4.50 plus $.50 per contract. Only the first account of any account type is eligible for the Zecco Trading, Free Trading program. Any multiple accounts of the same type with the same registration are not eligible for the free trading program. Free Trading Program is only available through Zecco.com. $0 minimum to open cash and IRA accounts. Margin accounts require a $2,000 minimum balance for opening and trading on margin.

Zecco Trading accounts are protected by the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC), up to $500,000 (including up to $100,000 for cash claims). Accounts protected in the aggregate up to $200MM by Lloyd’s of London. This coverage provides protection against brokerage insolvency and does not protect against loss of market value of securities.
