    Are there any indicators with regards to the blogging communitys impact on traditional media in the future?
    Of all the things I lost I miss my mind the most.

    The traditional media here in the US are reporting, on a regular basis, that blogging will continue to impact it. Just about everyone broadcast news anchor has his or her own blog. The thinking is that traditional media must join the blogging community to be relevant!

    History states that whenever there's a new medium that the old media consolidate with the survivors getting stronger.  Web 2.0 only makes those respected media stronger since we'll have more access to their content.  It's those mediocre/crap outlets which will suffer the indignity of bankruptcy and neglect.  Those naysayers who called for the end of newspaper with radio, radio with television, network with cable, television with internet all missed the point.   Quality sells.
