I listened to the conference call today.  It was not well scripted and left a lot of questions unanswered which I think led to the drop in the price of the stock, notwithstanding other negative information about this outfit.

I realize that some of you are upset with fantasy, but IMHO the only person you should be angry with is yourself for taking his word as gospel.   Check his record and immediately you know his calls are suspect.

Many of us find this chain of events amusing, particularly the scalpers and techies, but those of you who have lost your money on this gem will be shorn like sheep again if you are not diligent in  your research.....been there, done that more times than I'd like to admit.

I'm looking forward to fantasy's next intallment of DKAM misinformation.

     (sigh)

I am not going to disagree, but it is hard not to say this company does not have potential, they did increase sales by another 375%. That is pretty good for a company that is suppose to be cash strapped.

They did "clear up" their debt, but basically what they did is move it from their balance sheet on the shareholders' backs.  This could be one of the reasons for the huge drop today.  There is definitely great potential for growth, but I don't think we will see the price per share go up until there is some news and hype in the coming months.

I bought DKAM on 3/8 for 2.21, and sold my position at 2.58 on Monday, a 16.74% gain. My guess is today's drop was based on the fact that despite huge sales increases, the company failed to turn a net profit for the quarter. They also spent a lot of money to launch Trump Super Premium Vodka... From my read, a lot of the cases shipped in the intial launch were promotional/complimentary. The big question for the future is if sales can maintain while lowering promotional costs.

My guess is DKAM is going to bounce between $2 and $2.50 for a while. Consider buying if it drops below $2 and *probably* hold off on selling until it hits 2.50 again. Speculative stocks are wild rides, so it's important to watch closely, not panic, but avoid being too greedy.

This is absolutely true. As a rule of thumb, be extremely skeptical about any stock picking advise you read on the internet, no matter how legit it sounds. Sure, read them and identify potential stocks, but do the research and look at the charts yourself.

For all you know, 'fantasy' could be a 12 year old girl.  Never make a trade without doing you own DD.  In fact, if one blindly follows anothers advice in a open forum, you shouldn't be trading to begin with.

Why does everyone automatically think that everyone who has DKAM shares followed fantasy "blindly" into this. First off, it is an insult to say that anyone would follow another blindly into any investment opportunity. I think as adults it is safe to say we all know about pumpers, and make sure to do our own DD. Secondly, if you did do any DD on this company, you would see what a bright future they have in store. They are making moves to ensure a very bright future, including bringing on well established board members from the beverage industry, erasing debt, and rolling out all of their products nationwide, as well as abroad. Do not call me a child and make it seem like I am following someone I have never met blindly with my money, giving it away if they ask. Also, what would you have said if this past week the stock had soared. I doubt your analysis would have been similar. I am a believer in this stock, and I am sure that over the next few months you all will want positions in Drinks Americas. Please stop being nagging mothers and slapping our wrists saying we should be smarter with our money, when things don't always go your way either.

I agree with atway.  Although I found out about the company in the first place from fantasy's post it didn't make me automatically buy shares.  In fact, at first I immediately suspected it to be a blatant pump and dump scheme.  But after looking at SEC filings and other information I found it to be a solid company comprised of strong individuals in the drinks business, and THEN decided to invest. To me that is what these forums should be all about.  Everyone should feel welcome to mention a new company if he or she thinks it has potential, but at the same time don't rely on whoever brought it up in the first place to provide you with all the information necessary to make a decision about where to put your money.

    Check this out:

    Current DKAM Analysis Report

"Rather than have people looking everywhere for threads that the bashers will try to bury, I'll just put everything here and follow it up with replies so all longs can see the true facts about what this company did and is doing now.

    One-----3rd Q '07 Financial Highlights

So you follow each other out of the stock and sell and scream at everyone else that it's a loser. Here are the true financial results for the quarter only.

-Total Revenues up 875% from 3rd Quarter 2006 and 19.6% above 2nd fiscal quarter 2007
-Total alcohol sales for the quarter increased 1092% over the year ago period
-Total alcohol case sales increased from 2828 to 43337 or an increase of 1432%
-Newmans Own case sales increased 218%
-Gross margins for the quarter increased 125% over the same period last year
    -Cash increased to $8 million
-All debt(other than short term financing)removed from balance sheet
-Brought in Hubert Millet to spearhead global expansion
-Nationwide expansion of Newmans Own begins

I sent these numbers today to an analyst that follows the beverage industry closely and his response was these are the highest numbers he'd ever seen from any beverage stock while he was in the business. He asked why the stock didn't run to new highs. I had to tell him there was no reason. Alot of people making up reasons but no reason.

    TWO-----Three Months Ended January 31, 2007 and 2006:

Net Sales: Net sales were $2,681,273 for the three months ended January 31, 2007 compared to net sales of $274,880 for the three months ended January 31, 2006. The increase was due to the launch of Trump Super Premium Vodka in second quarter fiscal 2007. Alcoholic product sales were $2,507,236 on 43,337 cases sold for the three months ended January 31, 2007 compared to $210,255 on 2,828 cases for the same period of the prior year. Sales of non-alcoholic products for the three months ended January 31, 2007 were $191,000 on 20,320 cases sold of Newman's Own products compared to $58,560 Newman's on 6,400 cases sold, for the three months ended January 31, 2006.

Problem!!! Trump total sales thru 1/31 was 39673 cases and was 21708 cases for the quarter. Total alcohol cases sold for the quarter were 43,337 cases. I checked, the case sales are correct. Rheingold reformualtion was not complete by 1/31. That means something sold 21629 cases of some kind of alcohol for $174037 in revenue, or about $8 a case. Any idea what alcohol product other than beer sells for $8 a case??? NONE ANYWHERE! And none that DKAM sells.

Nice deal! Put out a mistaken earnings release and after everybody sells and a buy rating comes out, all of a sudden show up with all these additional sales in next quarter's release or a PR that you are revising your current results to the upside."

Jesus, you can't be serious. Just cut it out already, we've seen it many times before. A number of people praise the stock like crazy, pull numbers out that noone really understands or can backup with sources, it drops like crazy, lame and empty explanation with more numbers promising it will go up. Give it up. Stock prices talk, not this garbage.

Something smells fishy. You registered on this forum just to pump DKAM?
