    I don't think McCain was the correct person to select as the Republican nominee.  I have lost confidence in McCain's chances of beating Obama.  There are just too many uneducated and politically ignorant people in this country supporting Obama.  I don't think our country will ever recover from this economic crisis especially when there will only be one voice in Washington with Democrats/Communists in control of both the executive and legislative branchs of government.  One voice which represents socialism and the destruction of the principals our country was founded on.  Our country is finished.

    I'd go further and call it a cultist mentality. I'd look at the Zogby polls and ACORNs fraudulent activity. 1.2 million votes that shouldn't exist. Amazing! I don't think the polls reflect what Americans are thinking.

    If you cast a wide net, Obama could be considered a moderate, but I still think he's much more liberal than McCain is conservative. To not see that would be incredibly naive.

    Since you feel that way, you should probably get your suitcase ready.  I wonder what country would fit your goals and aspirations of keeping everything the same forever.  I wonder where you could go in the world that you could avoid the "Democrats/Communists" and their progressive reforms.  Maybe you and the other "educated and politically literate" people you see voting for McCain will find some other people with similar views elsewhere.
