I am always learning how to correctly invest and control my finances. I decided that I should share some of my favorite sites and what I like about them. By the way, in true Zecco fashion all the sites I mention are free to use.
Broker/ Forums
Zecco- Congratulations you made it to Zecco.com, 10 free trades a month, and if you do more than 10, $4.50 for a trade isn’t bad. Not only are there free trades but forums and the ability to share your trades. This is what is fantastic about ZeccoShare. At other forums I was skeptical, was I being played? Was I being pumped only to be dumped? Here at Zecco you can sort the fake from the real. Simple, the real are showing their trades. Users are putting their money where their mouth is. I feel this also keeps the majority of pump and dump schemes out. Zecco also has a quotes and research section.
Research/ News
www.UsaToday.com; www.cnn.com – My two favorite news sites. They cover the major news stories that may influence the market and economy.
www.investopedia.com – A great site to learn how to trade stocks. It is also filled with articles on how the markets work and a glossary for market terms. I find myself here almost every day, reading the articles, looking up unfamiliar words, and currently trying to get the hang of options trading on one of the virtual games.
www.moneycentral.msn.com – Everything financial. This is where I check up on my stocks daily for specific news, recent updates, filings, and reports. I find something new almost everyday there. Today, I found they have a listing of credit cards with the lowest rates, awesome. finance.yahoo.com is another great site for this.
www.Wasabe.com; www.Mint.com; www.Geezeo.com – These are personal finance sites. You can have it set up to include your bank accounts, credit cards, loans, brokers, ect. This allows all your financial information to be in one place. These site will also specifically help you save money and meet your personally finance goals.
www.advancedtrendanalysis.com – Site run by our own Community Advocate, Scott ¥$£. Scotty monitors the supply and demand of the S&P 500 to help us determine the best times to buy and sell. Scotty has been hard at work updating the site and I suggest you check it out. The first time I visited I did not quite understand everything that was going on, but there are forums on his site, I’m sure if you ask him any questions he will answer them for you.
Other Points of Interest
If I am looking at a specific stock, I also yahoo (or google) the stock. I also make sure to visit the company’s website.
