    Margin interest due?

    Hi,

    I have a negative balance on my margin account. How do I determine what is the interest due on this loan? Do I have to calculate it manually or is it listed somewhere on my Zecco trading page?

    Also, how do I pay it off? Can I:

    1) Sell some shares with total value > negative balance? Will that pay it off?

    2) Make an additional cash transfer (fund my account) > negative balance? Will that pay off the interest?

    3) Or do I have to pay off the interest specially? If so, how?

    Any help will be appreciated,

    Margin interest is paid at the end of each month.  It will be deducted automatically from your trading account and you don't have to do anything special to pay it.   To find out how much interest you have paid, read your monthly statement.  Unless you get a Margin Call, your account is ok.  A bit of advice, just because you have the power to borrow, that doesn't mean you have to borrow.  Unless you can profit more than 10% of your overall investment, don't borrow the money.
