So I wired the money from Suntrust on Tuesday afternoon, on Wednsday they said the money "went through"....now it's Saturday....and I still have not received the money. Should I be aware of something that could have gone wrong? Who should I contact in case I have questions regarding this delay?

I dont know if the records will update over the weekend. I know it takes like 2 days to send money from zecco to my other acct. Inbound I think it was 3-4 days when I last added funds to my investment acct.  Hopefully you should see it monday.  Does it show that it came out of your Suntrust acct?

Yup, the money was taken out of the Suntrust account. I am a bit relieved that you are saying it does take up to 4 days. I was thinking it was supposed to take 1-2 days (if the transaction was done before noon).
    Thanks for the response!

it varies.  On what, i dont know.  But I have an Etrade bank account and when I transfer from the local bank to etrade it takes 3 days min.. but from etrade to local bank it takes 2 days.  Hopefully it will be credited soon, but i have never had any problems transfering money.. Although Transfering into Zecco the first time confused me.

You should definitely contact Zecco Trading Customer Service

Offices are closed over the weekend.

You should definately contact customer service, just for a formality. As for being worried, I wouldn't. Ive made several seperate deposits over the last several weeks, and they do take a bit. Take my last one for example. I sent it ACH on monday, and it still hasnt gone through. Tomorrow will be one week. Anything past 10 days will start getting me concerned.
Hopefully we will both be good at the start of business on Monday.

All I know is it took about 1-2 weeks for them to get my account started to the point I could make trades!

There was an article posted on SeekingAlpha titled, "Test Driving Zecco.com: Free Trading, But At A Price."

    http://seekingalpha.com/

Might be a good read given your situation.

Personally, aside from the lengthy account set-up time, my biggest problem is the lack of functionality on the Options Trading offered by Zecco. They have too many Asset Allocation problems when spread trading that you'll spend most of the day on the phone with customer service trying to get things fixed. It's so irritating! Thinkorswim is by far more option friendly you'll be suprised at how little Zecco provides.

Eeek! I have no idea how to work with options even though I read a bit about how they work. I'm pretty much as new as you can get to trading...even though I'm certain I've read hundreds of pages on the subject. I just need that money in my Zecco trading account since it's just floating around somewhere and I don't know where, which makes me feel very uneasy.

On a side note: Does anyone know if the Google finance charts are enough "real-time" to let you buy and sell stocks? They are usually delayed by about 15 min. Is there any other free real-time chart I could use?
