    You have to figure out on your own your cost bases and enter it manually.  At least I do not know any other solutions. That is what I did.
    Pension did not screw up your info. Majority of brokers report sales total w/o your intial cost.


    Ameritrade is the exact same way. I had to figure out my own basis for 2005-2007. The only information they provided was the total sales.

    Remember - when you short a stock, your transaction is in reverse (you sold it first, then bought it back later.)

    screw you zecco. you have made this process so complicated and hard that im not even going to mention i do business with you on my taxes. i've been trying to download my account records all night to quicken and your whackass website cant even do that. fuck you guys im out.

    I called Penson, and they told me I could not link my TurboTax to their system.  Some people on here are claiming they figured out how to, damn I wish I had known that.  I spent 3 hours typing in my trade info.

    I hope Zecco includes itself next year in TurboTax's program without making us pay for Gainskeeper.  We're all here cause we're cheapskates anyway, right?
