    Im new here when I go to sell and it says estimated proceeds: and then the number

    does this figure include trading fees?

    I've never traded enough in one month to incur a commision. I would assume not, however, because unless it's a market order, the system has no way to be certain whether there will be a fee or not (you may or may not have free trades when it actually executes...)

    Since you can calculate shares times price to see if commission is included, I assume you are asking about SEC fees.  The answer is no.  In fact, the SEC fees don't even show up in net proceeds shown.  The SEC fees will, however, be included in the resulting balances next day.

    To calculate the SEC fees, multiply .000075 per shares sold -- maximum charge $3.75 -- plus .0000393 times the dollar amount of proceeds, rounded up to nearest penney -- .01 minimum.
