    Gorilla Trades

    Reply Quote

Has anyone used or known anyone with experience using the service called gorrillatrades.com

I have seen their ads and have done some research and it seems to be good.

Was looking for someone who has found some value and is willing to share their experieces - good and bad.

    Thanks.

Let me start by saying that I have not used gorilla trades, so this is my opinion only.

There are a lot of sites out there just like this one, making claims that they are different or better, just like this one does.  I always say to stay away from these things.  I am not a big fan of paying someone else to pick stocks for you.  Their marketing departments work hard to get people to believe what they say and get you to sign up.  They almost never show you the complete picture of their portfolio, they show you the best and maybe show you a small sample of the bad times.  I would not pay them for this.

However, and this is a big however, they do offer 30 days free.  Which, 30 days free means, "we hope you don't cancel on time so we can start charging you."  For free, you may want to give it a shot.  If you can remember to cancel in 30 days, then you really don't have anything to lose.  I may even sign up for 30 days.   These are probably all buy and hold stocks, which I am not into at all, but it might be interesting to watch their picks.

Anyway, my opinion, sign up for 30 days, don't forget to cancel before 30 days is over, unless you feel it is worth whatever money they charge.  At least it is free for a test drive.

Actually, from testimonials I've seen, cancelling your subscription is like pulling teeth. The cancellation form on their website does not work, they have no posted customer service number and ignore emails asking to cancel. They have a brilliant marketing team, but I've seen enough negative feedback (a lot of the positive comments have looked like shills) that I'm staying away.

I remembered an article about it a few months ago.  Search for Gorilla Trades Unmasked Business Week.  Maybe that will help you.

I don't know why you would  pay a company to pick stocks. If you are sharing or in one of the groups, you can see which method they use and what stocks they pick.  Just ask and someone will help you.  I added my third stock into my portfolio because one of the users told me why he liked the stock and then provided me a ton of information on it.  Don't buy the cow!

If somebody is using http://www.gorillatrades.com gorilla trades already for stock picks, I would suggest you to create an account in http://www.gainerstoday.com to track the stock pick performance for 30 days or at least the 30 days trial. Then send us the gainerstoday link to see how was the performance (gains or profit) for all gorilla trades recommendation sumbitted during the month.

DO NOT USE GORILLA TRADES!!!  They have about fourty stock picks they track at a time.  Some of their picks go up and some go down, but since they track so many stocks, you don't know which ones to buy, unless you have enough money to buy shares for each of their picks.  I do not have enough money or time to ACTIVELY trade 40+ stocks.  Also, they only "advertise" their winning stock picks.  I signed up for the service and lost too much money.  I cancelled my subscription and have since received about 50+ emails from them over the past 6 weeks (no exaggeration) offering me subscription discounts, renewal offers, etc.

I think shimer75904 has given good enough reasons to stay away from gorilla trades.  Thanks for posting based on actual experience.  Actual experiences really show what a company is like.
