    GOOG vs. Viacom

Does anyone think that this suit will have a major or a minor impact on GOOG shares? Who do you think will penetrate first (BIDU into US or GOOG into China)? BIDU is a $12B company while GOOG is a $187B company. BIDU's expensive while GOOG's cheap.

I'm interested in hearing from those who think that GOOG's a good buy right now and those who believe it's time to ring the register.

Do you think the fact that Cramer has capitulated and now wants to buy the stock that it is the end of the run or do you think it has no effect or a positive effect on GOOG? It looks like he's been wrong a lot in tech and JCP the last couple of months. It seems that he ignores the value investor call and tries to play momentum in my retail stock and that's very annoying. I mean he loved it from 48 to 41 and hated it at 37 and now it is at 44 and we haven't heard a peep from him about it.

GOOG looks very good. I intend to make a nice return on GOOG as I believe it has more room to run. The fundamentals look very good. PEP is a great consumer staples since they have very tasty salty products that shouldn't go out of style in a recession. I really think the CEO is a maverick and is of high-quality. To overcome, KO's domiannce really took a lot of ingenuity and persistence.

While GOOG is a strong company, I do think it's  a good idea to buy ADBE, HPQ, TSM, and even VMW. VMWare is a solid company (now!); it was a very weak company just one year ago. I think having a tech basket is a good idea. VMW is for momentum guys, while HPQ is definitely a value play. TSM has had a lot of price movement upward, yet it still has a competitive PEG, while ADBE has maintained a good price.

PG and PEP are great consumer staple companies

Lastly, I think biotechs loook attractive. GSK, CELG, PFE, and ABT are all great biotech companies.
