    Can I convert my cash account to margin account?

    I currently have a cash account and now I want a margin account (to short).  Is there a way I can convert my existing cash account into a margin account?  I don't want to close the cash one and then going through all the trouble of opening a margin account.

    yes..you can..just simply call the customer support number and they can do it for you

    You need to apply by filling out the "Margin Application Form" here: http://www.zecco.com/

    If you call customer service, they probably will tell you the same thing.  You need to fill out the form and fax or mail it via US postal service.  Unless you want someone to steal your information/identity, don't use email.
