Awesome! But I hope that you really fix the performance issues. It won't do anyone any good if there are no commissions but they can't trade either.

this should be an interesting month. Zecco please share the trade volume data for the month of Oct. I myself, have made about 60 trades already and am up only $60. Markets don't really work when there is no price.

This is a welcome offer but I would be much happier to hear something like "zecco improves performance and availability". I had decided to stop using zecco since the site was consistently down or extremely slow on the days near the LEH bankruptcy, and it was a nightmare dealing with it, specially for people who make several trades a day or who were holding overnight positions during that week-end. I'm now happy to stick around for the next month, and longer if you manage to make me feel I can trust this site again.

what good are free trades when i cant even see my positions....just like right now 10/14/08 @ 9:41 I can't trade because my positions won't even load up. Every time there is high volume your system can't keep up. Do something about it. We want reliability. Esp if you keep making your service less attractive....taking away all those free trades we used to have.

been with zecco for about a year, i think this is as good as it gets.you guys rock.thanks for everything, you have given me peice of mind while trading. never faced any issue with performance. Excellent site for short term and long term traders, may be day traders would like to disagree.Been with Ameritrade, etrade, scottrade,fidelity etc, believe me this is as good as it gets for full time working professionals. The free trades for the month are nice and your performance has been alittle better since you seem to have dropped the blog page.
But being one of the earliest Zecco accounts: March 2007,I still want back the monthly free trades I originally joined Zecco for!

I dont like having to export my transactons to quicken, or keying them into msn money, try giving away the performance since free trades are limited now anyway

or at least partner up with a major website, yahoo, msn or google so we can download data and import to the portfolio or even trade from their website like msn money has with several brokers

I was having performance issues and did a major computer scan with my virus software AVG (free). Haven't had any issues with Zecco or any other sites since.

I doubt Zecco has any back up strategy, one day all their servers will crash and we all will see nothing in our trading center everything is ZERO !! Imagine !! How will we claim our money with Zecco !! I am frustrated, what the hell is going on with Zecco, they don't have super technical team who can handle this crash issue !!!

this has been a fantastic promotion and has certainly stemmed some losses that people have experienced. I, well, was up a great deal
over the month till two days ago myself (though I'm sure that
the market will recover from the panicing and I'll be fine again sometime in the next few weeks)

I will say that I haven't had any issues with the site really,
I did get thrown to the back-up server one day a week ago or so.... m I had a login problem like smsn said but I simply cleared the cookies out and it was no problem.

I say - Zecco, keep up the commission-free structure and find innovative ways to generate revenue and you will be greatly rewarded by the market place. However, invest in quality hardware and networking to insure up-time and fast and efficient trades.

Good luck, and again, THANK YOU for the month long of free trades .... November would certainly be welcome as well ;-)
