I had a very cool visit to the Apple Store in Burlingame, CA two weeks ago when I went to pick up a case for my iPhone. First, I have to remark that there was still a long line outside of store weeks after the launch of the new iPhone. Pretty impressive business Apple is pulling in on this product.

But it was once I made it into the store that things got really exciting. When I walked through the doors I was surprised to run into several players from the 2008 US Basketball Dream Team. LeBron James, Chris Bosh, Dwight Howard and others were on their way to Beijing and had made a pit stop to pick up some headphones. It was very exciting to see the players and get a first-hand glimpse of the excitement surrounding the Olympics.

Speaking of the Olympics, I want to go on a tangent here and take a second to reflect upon how multi-national the Zecco team is. While certainly not hailing from as many countries as the Olympic athletes do, we at Zecco do represent a wide range of nations. The Zecco team harkens from 10 different countries, including the States, The Netherlands (my birth country), Hong Kong, Italy, the Ukraine, Vietnam, South Korea, China, Venezuela, Belarus and Central Illinois…just kidding on that last one! We could stage our own little relay race here in the parking lot!

I’m really enjoying the Olympics. It’s such a prestigious sporting event. I’m also curious to see how China handles the pressure of the eyes of the entire world on it. Agreed. I came to Zecco for the free trades, but it is the great Zecco community that keeps me logging into my account every day.  There are also a good amount of international investors at Zecco, so its always interesting to get their point of view. Enjoy the Olympics everyone!

I agree with Fresh Prince.  I have tried numerous times to make a trade in Zecco on the Safari browser in the IPhone with no luck.  All it does is kick you out to the log in screen.  Please have someone fix this so I can make trades when I'm on the road.  Thank you.
