No, it’s not an excuse to go to some bars on a Saturday. A BarCamp is basically a casual, ad-hoc gathering for people to “share and learn in an open environment.”
BarCampBankSF is meant to foster innovations and the creation of new business models in the world of banking and finance. And naturally, we’re excited to attend, participate.
Events like these are great ways to learn about what others in the industry are doing, and share our own ideas about the industry and our plans for it.
If you’re in the Bay Area and would like to join in, here are the details:
- UC Berkeley campus, Saturday, March 29, 2008.
- Wozniak Lounge in Soda Hall.
- Registration: http://bcbsf.eventbrite.com and there is a $25 fee to prevent no-shows.
