Fellow Zecconians!
It’s an honor to meet you all. I’m excited to
introduce myself as the newly minted Community Manager. My name is John, but
you’ll see me online as MC Moore$. I’m a closet investor who has been reading
the Journal and picking stocks since I was 16. I’ve also spent my entire career
working in financial services. While valuable, my experiences with Citi, Schwab
and a nonprofit teaching financial literacy, were purely prep for this
position. I learned that collaboration and a supporting
transparent community can inspire radical change and empower us all! You can
tell I’m drinking the Kool-Aid, right? But joking aside, I’m pumped to support
Zecco users and look forward to getting to know you all better.
As you likely know, in my role I will be a great
resource should you have any questions, a good punching bag if you’re upset and
need to vent, and a good support if you need someone to lean on for help. I
will be online everyday responding to posts, recruiting bloggers and keeping
spammers and unruly users from disrupting our environment. So always feel free
to send me a note via private message or a shoutbox post on my profile – it’ll be great to get
to know everyone!
