At Zecco, we try to do things a little bit differently. With ZeccoShare, we enable people to open up and
share their portfolios, their trades, and their performance with each
other. And through Zecco Trading people have
access to $0 stock trades. So when we
think about how to approach our education section, we wanted to do something a
little bit differently than everyone else.
ZeccoEDU is the new community-powered education center at
Zecco, where we explore various investing topics in depth. For the most part, content is not generated
by Zecco, but by the millions of individuals on the Internet contributing to
the emerging online global knowledge base.
What we try to do is point you in the right direction – either to our
own ZeccoShare blogs and forums, to books and articles written by experts, or
to bloggers out there helping us all learn to invest smarter.
So we’re kicking things off this week with a new section
called Topics, with two very timely pages.
One is our IPO Center, where we help outline what you might need to know
for the next exciting company going public.
The page uses Visa’s upcoming IPO as a case study for what you’d need to
know for any other initial public offering.
The second topic page focuses how to tackle a bear market, pulling from
numerous sources to outline how everyday investors can approach today’s
volatile market conditions more confidently.
In addition to the Topics center, we’ll be maintaining this
new blog. You can expect to see some
guest posts from people we like, and all new additions to ZeccoEDU will be
announced here. So, please subscribe (e.g.
through RSS) so you can get all the updates you need. Last but not least, feel
free to leave any feedback or questions in the comments section below.
