1. Housing Stocks Surge On Fed
Traders will be trying to interpret the big market moving comments made by The Federal Reserve. The Fed Chief acknowledged that the housing market is correcting, giving hopes to some that The Fed may eventually do something to ease that pain.
Macke: Turn your back and runaway from the homebuilders.
Adami: Recommends FLR and MDR.
Bolling: Likes companies that engineer infrastructure such as JEC and BUCY.
Najarian: Thinks the mortgage insurance companies will be next to feel pain from the subprime slime. Keep an eye on TMA.
2. Bargain Bin
The Fed says that it realizes credit is getting harder to come by for consumers. That came as a relief to some investors as retail shares were among the hardest hit during the credit crunch.
Macke: Likes JOSB as a trade because the stock is down as well as TGT, again, as a trade. For a long term investment recommends COST.
