IPO’s are noteworthy for a lot of reasons. For many companies, it
represents an important milestone in their growth. For investors, it
presents an opportunity to start investing in a company that is new to
the market. And of course for the media, it’s a huge event to talk
about. Soon, Visa plans
to offer a huge IPO, estimated at over $18 Billion, it will surpass the two largest IPO’s in history:
AT&T Wireless’ $10.6 Billion in 2000, and Kraft Foods’ $8.7 Billion in
2001.
So where do you go for more information? You could scour the Google and the web, but
no one wants to put too much effort into that (searching is so hard!) A better place is to post a question in the
ZeccoShare forums – and a lot of people have been doing that. We wanted to make it super-easy, so we’ve
dedicated a new page in the ZeccoEDU section entirely to how to prepare for
upcoming IPO’s.
So check it out! And
join the conversation in our numerous forum threads and groups dedicated to
this historic event. Don’t worry – you
can find them all quite easily on the page.
And of course, feel free to leave any feedback and questions in the
comments below.
