Jeroen Veth - Co-Founder/CEO
Jeroen Veth, entrepreneur and former Merrill Lynch Vice President, founded Zecco on the philosophy that some things in life should be free… like commissions. He has 14 years of experience in the financial industry, focusing on client acquisition, asset management, and sales. He gained recognition for his outstanding performance in the European banking industry. All of this high level experience provided Jeroen with a deep understanding of the financial services industry and the confidence to follow through with his vision of a free trading community and launch Zecco.com.
Allard Luchsinger - Chief Operating Officer
Allard Luchsinger is a former strategy consultant for the Dutch consulting firm, Boer & Croon, where he specialized in new business models and financial services. Recognizing the power of the Internet to reach consumers, Allard founded Trading Cars.com, and Liquid Thoughts New Media which launched Wannahaves, the first true multi-media player in the Northern European market. Previously, he worked as a financial services consultant for Gemini Consulting, where he gained extensive experience in the international banking industry with projects in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Allard earned degrees in political science and philosophy from the University of Leiden in the Netherlands and a master’s degree in management from the London School of Economics.
Nick Gianniotis - Chief Technology Officer
Nick Gianniotis has a professional background in technology that spans over 20 years. His career began in Sydney, Australia as a hardware and software embedded systems engineer. His work included mission critical products for telecom industry leader JNA Telecommunications (later acquired by Lucent Technologies) and recording studio equipment manufacturer Fairlight Instruments. As a senior systems architect for Credit Suisse First Boston, Lehman Brothers Japan, JP Morgan Securities Asia and others, he led efforts to design, build and manage high performance, fault-tolerant trading and trade-support systems for various front-office business units. At Arzoon.com, he architected and implemented the firm’s EDI transaction processing system and managed product development, production support and operations groups. Nick holds a degree in computer science from the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.
Gabriel Dalporto – Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer
Gabriel Dalporto brings strong financial services and online marketing experience from E*TRADE Financial and JPMorgan Chase. As Vice President of Marketing at E*TRADE, he led the online advertising, website marketing, consumer research, decision science and call center marketing teams. Notable accomplishments at E*TRADE included leading a complete redesign of the etrade.com public site while helping drive dramatic growth in online brokerage accounts. Gabriel is responsible for driving customer growth through marketing initiatives and spearheading Zecco’s product strategy.
Barry S. Fischer - General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer
Barry Fischer joined Zecco in April 2007 as General Counsel of the Company, and as Chief Compliance Officer of Zecco Trading. Barry brings nearly 20 years of on-line and discount brokerage experience to Zecco, having held numerous senior management positions at four securities brokerage firms: Brown & Company Securities Corp., Mr. Stock, Inc., JB Oxford & Co., and National Clearing Corp. Prior to moving in-house, Barry was a partner of the law firm of Bernkopf Goodman LLP in Boston, Massachusetts, with a substantial portion of his practice devoted to representing securities brokerage firms. Barry holds the FINRA series 4, 7, 9, 10, 24, and 63 registrations.
Frank O’Connor - Director of Brokerage Products
Frank O’Connor spent 10 years as a managing director with JP Morgan Chase, assigned to JP Morgan Invest, LLC, the bank’s online brokerage unit. Previously, Frank joined BrownCo in 1996, preparing the traditional deep discount firm for entry into the world of high volume Internet brokerage. Through his guidance, BrownCo became one of the premiere discount online brokerage platforms in the country, expanding its margin lending and option trading capabilities and introducing mutual fund and fixed income instruments to the company’s roster of products. Frank held several senior management positions at BrownCo, including CEO, co-president, chief operating officer and managing director of trading and strategic initiatives.
Michael Feser - President, Zecco Trading
Michael Feser, President of Zecco Trading, brings over 21 years of experience in the brokerage industry, focusing on service, sales and relationship management. Michael has held prior executive roles with companies known for highly rated customer experiences: E*TRADE Financial, BrownCo, and USAA Investment Management Company. As VP, Customer Service at E*TRADE, he was instrumental in the turnaround of their service organization encompassing 1400 employees in the US and Philippines. Michael holds the FINRA series 4, 7, 9, 10, 24, 53 and 63 registrations. He also has earned a BBA in finance from Texas State University and an MBA from St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas. At Zecco Trading, he will be leveraging that experience to transform the customer experience.
